This membership tier is for businesses with 9 or fewer employees, and a total of 10 (including founders). It's great for companies that are thinking about raising capital, are working on their corporate structure and culture for the longterm, and are interested in participating in chapters, events, and the many service offerings and perks we are building out for co-op members. This plan entitles you to a company profile page in our directory.
The fees break down as follows:
- $100 buys you an ownership share of the General Member class of the co-op. This share comes with voting rights, and entitles you to receive patronage dividends. The General Member class receives 75%, the lion share (no pun intended) of any dividends distributed by the co-op. This share can be redeemed should you ever decide to leave the co-operative. - $250 is a one-time, non-refundable fee to set up your company and employees in all the co-op systems, provide onboarding and support, send you swag, and generally get you going.
- $100 a month ($1,200 annually) is the recurring fee for up to 10 people on your account. They are affiliate members of the co-op. That means they have no voting rights, nor participate in the dividend distribution, but get to participate in all the co-op programs, services and offerings. They may separately decide to become individual members of the co-op.
